Dhoni came in the more on his prowess as a batsmen who can keep, later developed more as a keeper once he became part of test team.

Ippudunna daantlo technically best as a keeper is Saha.

Pant has to work a lot as a keeper especially for spinners.

my suggestion would be to find a proper batsman like dravid and turn him into keeper..

Keeping is not so easy job bro... Such things as you said are stop gap arrangements.

Chuddam Pant entha dooram pothado... Inka options unnayi like Ishan Kishan & Sanju Samson for proper wicket keeping & batsmen who are both promising.

K S Bharat evado he is from south India is also promising guy..
