It will usually have a clause that you cannot directly work at the client up to 1 year after the contract is terminated. Each state has it own law. If you are a W2 full time with the vendor and working at the client site, you may be able to join the client directly. If you are a 1099 C2C with the vendor, the clause may be enforceable.
