CricPokChic Posted March 26, 2019 Report Share Posted March 26, 2019 It is widely alleged that late YS Rajasekhar Reddy was behind the sharp decline of once popular evangelist KA Paul. Since then KA Paul has been waging a war against YS family openly. Though Paul floated his own political party Praja Shanti Party and maintaining equal distance from both TDP and YCP. However, Paul has been attacking YS Jagan more as majority votes of dalits are inclined towards Jagan. In what can be a possible 'return gift' to YS Jagan, KA Paul has fielded candidates with similar names against YCP's candidates in several constituencies. The names of Praja Shanti Party's candidates are so close to YCP's candidates that only surname is different. In fact, in constituencies like Parchur, KA Paul fielded candidate with same surname as well. While Daggubati Venkateswara Rao is in fray from YCP in Parchur constituency, Prajasanthi Party fielded Daggubati Venkateswarlu in the constituency. This is a strategic move to 'confuse' voters. YCP is now worried with such mind-game by Paul. This is not all. Even the election symbol of KA Paul's party - Helicopter - has resemblance with YCP's symbol - fan. The fan on Helicopter is somewhat close to Jagan's fan. This stunt by KA Paul is sending jitters to YCP candidates and their cadre. KA Paul's candidates may not won, but if they can easily split the votes of YCP, it will directly affect the overall result and thus may become Paul's 'Return Gift' to Jagan.
