Hyderabad: Polling percentage lowest compared to rest of Telangana

Hyderabad: The polling percentage is Hyderabad and Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituencies is the lowest compared to rest of the State in the first two hours. Only 6.34 per cent turnout was reported till 9 am in Hyderabad as against 4.52 in Secunderabad. In Malakpet assembly segment of Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency four per cent polling was reported in first two hours.

In Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency only 3.60 per cent polling was registered till 9 am. AIMIM chief and sitting MP of Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to the voters to take part in the electoral process and ensure highest turn out in the both in the constituency and the State. TRS Working President K T Rama Rao took part in voting along with his wife in GHMC community Hall polling station at Nandinagar.

but voting matram ade 40% or less untadi

Hyderabad: The voter turnout in the State was 22. 84 per cent by 11 am according to the election authorities. The overall constituency wise polling in first four hours was 27. 08 per cent in Peddapalli Lok Sabha, 12. 27 in Hyderabad, 36.04 per cent in Medak, 10.20 per cent in Chevella,  26. 49 per cent in Nalgonda, 27 per cent in Mahabubnagar,  30.16  per cent in Nagarkurnool, 15.77 per cent Malkajgiri,  25.97 per cent  in Warangal,  32.19 per cent in  Mahaboobabad and 24 per cent in Khammam.
