What benefit does making Hindi as national language bring? If someone can justify that making Hindi and learning Hindi is outweighs the benefit of not learning it, may be people would understand.  With the same justification, they also need to realize that English is even more beneficial than Hindi. One Country, One language, right?.  May be we should make English as National language than Hindi.

Apart from English and HIndi, there are another 20 official languages.

If its optional for usage in administration

then dont even enforce Hindi at any level... PERIOD..... Pushpam gaalu should even be raking up the topic again.

Dravidian states  can elect to teach hindi to students like in TG but if they dont want to , thats also alright.
