According to French media, around 1,000 tractor-driving farmers drove from across France into the capital of Paris on Wednesday to protest government policies relating to distribution prices and criticism of pesticide usage and animal welfare. The French tractor rally mirrors a German tractor protest held on Tuesday and an Irish tractor protest on Wednesday over similar concerns.
