kakatiya Posted August 15, 2024 Author Report Posted August 15, 2024 Share Donate Fundraiser progress $424,311 raised of $250,000 goal · 7.9K donations Share Donate now Support Adiryan Arvind After Tragic Loss Rajaraman Venkatachalam is organizing this fundraiser. Donation protected Support for Adiryan Arvind: A Tragic Loss and a Young Life to Rebuild Dear Friends, My name is Rajaraman, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to seek your support for my friend's son, Adiryan Arvind. Arvind (45) and Pradeepa (42) were a wonderful couple blessed with two children, Andril (17) and Adiryan (14). Their life was filled with joy, especially as they recently celebrated Andril's admission to the University of Texas at Dallas to study computer science. Today, August 14th, 2024, was supposed to be a day of excitement and new beginnings as they prepared for Andril's move-in day at the university. Tragically, on their way to the UTD campus, the family's vehicle was involved in a devastating accident. With no fault of their own, Aravind, Pradeepa, and Andril lost their lives. Adiryan who just started 9th grade today, was unable to join them on the trip, and now he is left without his family. This young boy, with so many dreams and aspirations, needs our help for funeral, legal, and ongoing care including educational expenses. This will help him to navigate the difficult road ahead along with his uncle’s family living in Austin. We are reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community for support during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping Adiryan secure a brighter future. Arvind & Pradeepa was a stalwart in the community and an integral part of our Austin Indian community. Please share this campaign with your network and let's support their son & the family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, dear Arvind, Pradeepa & Adril. All of your memory will live on through the countless lives you all touched. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. kakatiya Posted December 30, 2024 Author Report Posted December 30, 2024 Rip Mallikarjun..he fought tirelessly for the greencard backlog bill Honoring the Legacy of Mallikarjuna Thondapu https://gofund.me/7d529ae0 It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mallikarjuna Thondapu, a remarkable man who dedicated his life to both his family and his community. Mallik was not only a loving husband, father, and son but also a passionate advocate for the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act of 2019-20. He worked tirelessly to address the challenges of the H1B Green Card backlog, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many. Mallik's courageous four-year battle with leukemia exemplified his resilience and selflessness. He endured multiple rounds of debilitating chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant—with his 12-year-old daughter as the donor—and countless complications. Despite being hospitalized for weeks on end, he continued to work relentlessly, driven by his sense of responsibility and love for his family. He never once sought financial assistance for his treatment, instead relying on his own resources and determination. Mallik is survived by his loving wife, who herself recently underwent cardiac surgery, their two young school-going children, and his elderly parents who live in India. As the sole breadwinner, Mallik carried the weight of supporting his family with unwavering strength. His wife, a woman of incredible courage, stood by his side throughout his illness, instilling resilience in their children even amidst the uncertainty. Mallik's passing leaves an irreplaceable void—not just in the hearts of his family, but also in the community he worked so hard to uplift. Today, his family faces emotional and financial challenges that no family should have to endure alone. This GoFundMe campaign has been created to honor Mallik's legacy and provide vital support to his family during this difficult time. The funds raised will help cover living expenses, and educational costs for his children, and provide some stability as they navigate life without their beloved husband, father, and son. Mallik and his family have always been self-reliant, never asking for help despite their struggles. Today, we invite you to join us in extending a helping hand to a family who has given so much, even in the face of immense hardship. No contribution is too small, and every gesture of support will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion as we honor Mallik's life and legacy. Your support means the world to his family in their journey ahead. Quote
