How are states recovering?

1) Good recovery: KL

2) Improving recovery: RJ, MP, UP, AP, TS, JK, KA, BR

3) Recovered cases rising, but active cases rising too: GJ, DL, HR, TN, OD

4) Big jump in cases: PB, WB (with large number of deaths)

5) Low recovery: MH

Good news for Andhra , curve is getting flatten

Are states testing enough? Confirmed positive cases per 100 tests-

1) High & growing: MH, GJ - infection way ahead of our knowledge. Need MUCH more testing, contact tracing.

2) Persistently high: DL, MP, WB, PB - need more testing, contact tracing.

3) Poor data reporting: TS

wont trust AP, TG numbers 

first of all tests arent being conducted at a scale compared to other states in TG
also in both AP and TG, passed away patients arent being tested for covid-19, which is the current rule as per IMC

AP is better bhayya , it is just following ICMR guidelines

TG not at all following ICMR guidelines

i dont believe numbers from tg govt any any cost.

Testing is big worry when it comes to tg

 but have you seen any positive cases in other than ghmc? Dora somehow did good job atleast in other parts of state. Even they reopened everywhere except in red zones. Will see big numbers in outs side Hyd if they really hiding something

More speard will means more testing, so far TG has been able to contain better than any state out there except for may be Kerela.

regarding the following testing read this interview from ICMR scientist why we cannot asymptotic contacts in country like India and they will expand testing when there is community transmission.

The better strategy that the government is following is that we have begun surveillance, as we did during the Zika virus outbreak in Jaipur. We did aggressive, house-to-house testing, even for asymptomatic individuals. That kind of aggressive containment strategy will be enforced wherever we see a community transmission. For the whole country, I cannot put in place those aggressive measures, because I have to be rational in a country like India.

This individual was stuck in AP for 60 days and couple of days made back to Tg, just look at the level of scrutiny people are under going coming in to TG. asha workers/medical staff are checking temperature at the state borders, local police dept and health dept workers showed up at his door steps to check up on him.
