Power BI ki DAX language ane oka daridram undi. Adi vastene Power BI vacchinattu. 
 

Tableau on the other hand has more SQL like functions which are easy to figure out for any kind of customizations. Building a visualization is less time consuming and less frustrating in Tableau.

 

Like others said these are just add on. Learn data science if you have interest in analytics. Market bagunnappude veetilo opportunities vastai.

Companies don’t prefer Power BI but it is nice to have a free visualization tool if you had want to convert Business objects/ssrs/cognos reports. Learn tableau for inspiration but Power BI to apply for more jobs.

Tableau is good tool we have so many jobs but learning Power BI as well plus .  Data scientist roles is good instead of analyst or BI with  AI  /ML is best going forward

I agree with @Sarvapindi, tableau and Power BI are just add on skills, ma patha company lo andaru nerchukovali tableau even if you don't have any software knowledge... In my opinion, learning MS Excel is harder than Tableau and Power BI, so don't rely only on them.

Tableau is an awesome tool...and Power BI kuda...renditiki pedda difference emi ledu...visualisations ni baaga vadukunayi ie tools. 

But trust me, if you are looking to develop a career on these tools, forget it...

Tableau and Power BI mida pani cheyadaniki peddaga skill kuda avasaram ledu...kani carer kuda short lived vuntadi...projects kuda lengthy emi vundayi..

I used to work on Tableau earlier and Power BI mida oka 2 years back pani chesa....unless FT, your contracts wil lbe short lived..

ipudipude career shuru chestunav kaka...jara kasta padi manchi stuff vunna maal nerchuko....malla malla sadive badulu okasari saduko..

in the days to come, excel ki tab/powerBI ki pedda teda emi vundadu...
