There was this guy ‘Saikat Sengupta’ who used to run 5 km everyday at the I-Block park (CR Park). There was also this cute girl who used to run everyday at the same park. They used to run along the circular path of the park but in the opposite direction. Saikat used to pass a smile when she used to cross him, while running. After a week, that cute girl used to pass a smile too. She used to sit on a particular bench after her run. Saikat gathered a hell lot of courage around him and started sitting on the same bench when she used to sit there. He wanted to talk to her but he didn’t have the courage to speak because he thought he might be rejected.

For 6 months they used to meet everyday at the park yet they didn’t share word. Saikat didn’t have the courage to even ask her name.

Saikat used to daydream about her everyday. He used to think that he would marry this girl (please don’t judge this 19 year old kid).

After one year

Saikat still runs long distance (10 km) everyday at the same park. That cutie has stopped coming to the park. He waits for her after his tiresome run but no one sits beside him.

Not all love stories have a happy ending.
