Ok, let me explain what I read somewhere. Aalla thatha nundi vacchina, divorce process was already settled and there is law around inheritence after the divorce. If the custody of the child was with Anand Gajapati after divorce, it would have been different case like you said. But the custody of the Sanchaita went to her mother who has been legally seperated. Hence Anand Gajati legal wife (at the time of his demise) and their children inherit.
