I totally agree, mentality is different in different people/countries/states. And that mentality has to change with time/evolution, even saudi or arab countries has changed their mentality and now some granting more freedom to women like driving a car.

Again mentality is different in different people/countries/states. How one raises kids and how they interact with their kids incase something they don't like about them depends on each individual and their approach/mentality/maturity. There are fathers who ruined their daughter's life and the ones who settled their life, it al depends on how they react/think.
