the difference between US and india is freedom. US is comparatively free in the western world, but compared to India, it is stuffy. you wouldn't know it because you waltzed into some high paying job after graduation.

half of US has no hope on their future.. half of India too has no hope, but then their life is still getting better every day. not for those in the US.

its that adherence to 'law and order' inspite of worsening conditions that enabled US to succeed (in what we call success now).. same applies to Hyderabad.

Vijayawada people seem to have more free will, and are more individualistic. that's also why they are successful in exploiting in Hyderabad's staid rule following regime. but its hard to emulate it in their own city.

this i think is a fundamental reason for why vijayawada people can't seem to collectively decide on a course of action for their city and stick by it. They are all freewheeling individuals.

It applies to Chennai too, mumbai too. Vijayawada people are not ready to be that.

In 1327, Tughluq ordered to move his capital from Delhi to Daulatabad (in present-day Maharashtra) in the Deccan region of India. Muhammad bin Tughlaq himself had spent a number of years as a prince on campaign in the southern states during the reign of his father. Daulatabad was also situated at a central place so the administration of both the north and the south could be possible.

 

interesting ...Tughlaq wanted a new capital at the center of the state instead of existing city  delhi .   Just an observation , take it however you please
