That shows that the civic infra is even worse in all other cities . It's not like we don't have the technology to fix it , it always comes down to votes and litigations .

Courts ni complete ga sideline cheyali in case of critical infrastructure just like China .

We may build 100 new cities with modern Infra and they will still be occupied by slums if the current laws stay the same way . chandigarh ,navi mumbai lo kooda baga slums leparu .

  GHMC has to spend 40-50 thousand crores to fix storm water drain system and displace thousands of people.  We ask for infra but majority of people are not ready to pay extra taxes to fund it . Most people want the current system to continue , that's the reality

yes India lo mega cities ki gurgoan, chennai even mumbai has this problem. major reason is uncontrolled, unplanned expansion like realtors (with political backup/binamis) encroach/occupy lakes and construct buildings classis example : kuktapally, miyapur etc., lanti areas lo 1990s lo vunde maps 2020 lo maps check chesthey enni lakes encroach chesaaru thelusthundhi

Mega cities emi karma , villages lo kooda same problem . Kalavalu akraminchadam , vaati meedha illu kati sagam ammi ,sagam poor people ki ichi pedha nayakulu ani chalaa mani kavadam  . 

Vijaywada pakkaney antha pedha nadi undhi but 2 cm rain ki sagam streets lo water stagnation
