Harish Given Task To Ensure TRS Win In Dubbaka!

It is a known fact that senior TRS leader and state finance minister T Harish Rao is a task master. If any task is entrusted to him, he puts in his best efforts to complete the same.

That is precisely why TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has entrusted Harish Rao with the task of securing victory for the party in Dubbak assembly constituency, which is going to by-elections following the death of local MLA Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy.

The TRS leadership has apparently realised that it is not so easy to win the Dubbak assembly seat just by cashing in on the sympathy factor arising out of Ramalinga Reddy’s death though his widow is likely to be fielded in the by-polls.

Reason is that many villages under Dubbak constituency are getting submerged under Mallannasagar reservoir and the villagers haven’t got their compensation yet.

The farmers had suffered a lot due to confrontation with the officials and the police. Even Ramalinga Reddy had never been accessible to the people regularly. So, there is every chance that the TRS might face a setback in the by-polls.

Now, the TRS government is trying to win over the confidence of the voters in Dubbak constituency. Since the constituency comes under Siddipet district and Harish Rao enjoys a lot of goodwill in the district, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao kept the responsibility of winning the seat on the shoulders of Harish.

And Harish has swung into action immediately. For the last few days, he has been touring the constituency extensively, touching every village. He has been holding meetings with the villagers, understanding their issues and pacifying them.

Since the election schedule has not been announced, Harish Rao has also been taking up several developmental works in Dubbak constituency, including construction of Rythu Vedikas, panchayat buildings, laying of roads and construction of bridges.

He is not forgetting to see that the people pass resolutions in every village declaring their support to the TRS candidate. Though some villages are still opposing the ruling party, he is not losing patience but talking to the people.

Ironically, neither the Congress nor the Bharatiya Janata Party has made any effort to meet the people and win their confidence, though both the parties announced that they would field their respective candidates.
