I think we should deploy police and give them shoot at sight orders.... and I also think KTR should be blamed for opening this bridge during pandemic...actually, we should have never built this bridge..!! This Govt is complete failure that it could not predict such massive crowds and prevent 1000's of people coming towards the bridge...

but then again, how can you stop people from coming ? like..144 section ? criminal cases for trespassing public property..what if people wan to exercise their fundamental rights ?

There is already crowd restriction in place ..similar to 144 section..no need to implement new one

you cannot just forget it for day and let people take break from covid norms.. especially when cases are on record rise

and you cannot enforce or implement rules in every case.

even if 144 is in place, do you expect cops to arrest 1000's of people and file cases against them? Don't you think that will further create more trouble and case spread faster among arrested ?

Antha dense population vunna country lo expecting social distance is nothing but a joke, not a practical or viable option.

India needs solutions to suit its needs based on its demographics, not borrowed ideas from western, developed small countries.

Dude...you are taking criticism as if it is against trs government.. I dont understand your concern..

They can control crowd by simply not letting them enter the bridge in large number with barricades as they are doing it now for other public places in city ..how is this bridge any different than other public places ?

You are comparing this as if they are hingkong protesters...they are public who wants to celebrate bridge opening with selfies and all..if they where told to not enter  bridge beyond capacity , since attendance  is above the capacity for regular covid crowd norms , it is very easily possible..

It appears like a movie audio function and it also appears like they want as much crowd to make this opening a success...
