ok. rice 10 minutes timer ok no. how is taste ? oven biryani worth on stove biryani better

Oven makes the dum part so easy. On indian youtube videos they use thick bottom vessels, carefully control flame etc so as not to burn and cook slowly. 

If you have oven : simple - 

Soak basmati in water 

Marinate chicken well - 3 hours in salt water, add all spices , yogurt and let it sit for 30 minutes. While waiting , boil (3 times  to rice) water , lots of salt, add some spices , oil let it boil. Add pre soaked rice and cool till 70%. Key...don't overcook or undercook

Put it in aluminum tray, seal with foil, done. 

Just in case rice is too watery, put it back.

If not cooked, sprinkle water and put back for 5 more minutes.

danikante dutch oven type edanna thick ceramic vessel aithe better.

you can get ceramic tray, and can be reused again and again
