Hi Folks,

Please let me know a good insurance plan for parents after arrival in US that covers preexisting conditions. I learned that INF elite needs to be in effect before arrival in US right? please advise.

I took one which covers covid and pre-existing. 3000 $ for 6 months for mom and dad.  United Health Care.

Mom is diabetic and dad has pre existing conditions too. Traveled in covid so took good coverages as i myself was very scared that they might contact covid even before reaching states. So far so good .

Thanks , it looks like HCC is the underwrite for this policy and United Health is the PPO , a little confusing

Did you use this insurance by any chance? Any issues when you went to doctor and showed insurance proof etc?

My mom was sick and had covid like symptoms recently oka sari vellam.  UH cards aey vachayi . I had no issues.
