kamandalamjalam1
Guys, need to buy a latest one. Apple is currently busy promoting their M1 Chip based laptops. Does anyone use this at this moment? Some people are saying that M1 is outperforming Inte Core-i9 in many ways. Any suggestions from people who are using them, please? Yes it's true M1 is better than a I9 in most tasks , but it's a ARM based chip .Many programs that are optimised for x86 architecture will not work for it . If you are working in IOS/ mac OS environment , it's a great choice . Nothing comes close to it in that price point . If you are going to use it run programs for windows then it isn't a good choice for now .
AndhraneedSCS
I would buy M1. With more developers optimizing their applications for M1 chip, it will only get better from here.

I have one luxury. I will buy one from CostCo and try to run all my enterprise applications carefully without removing the whole packaging. Will return back if it doesnt work for me but reviews indicate that its worth a try.

hyperbole
I9 and m1 are very close, if you need big screen, run windows, virtual machine, or indulge in enterprise aoftware go with macbook
