I guess I don't meet people like you in my real world. And your reality is very different from my reality. I went to school to learn. I just asked my husband, he says he went to school to learn. So, I don't know the reality you talk about.

Sure. Associates tho jobs def ga vasthayyi but if u want to go for a normal entry level programming job with any decent company .. min requirement is bachelors. 
 

Also a point to mention, konni jobs take associates if u do not have a bachelors but they ask for experience to compensate.
