Interfiling is not as bad as you think. Recently USCIS released a policy update on what procedure to follow for interfiling of cases that retrogressed Nov 1. The policy update was sent to AILA. 

I read the document and it is pretty clear.

No. It’s just a letter. Most of the attorneys do it for free if they handled your 485. I have the policy document sent to AILA. Not sure how to upload it here
