Currently in India testing here is in full swing all private labs test for 500 rs for 1200rs they come to your house and collect swab. Govt testing centers are numerous and free. Results come in 8hrs way way better than US.

endi vayya meeru. phase 3 testing ayyindi. they did not release the data ante. main governing body says that they would not have approved it had it not been successful. 

stop saying that phase 3 tests did not happen

What about efficacy data?

There is no efficacy data at the moment, said Ella, as the phase-3 trial is ongoing and is yet to hit the 146-Covid infection mark, which triggers an interim analysis to measure the efficacy of the vaccine.

He said that in the next 2-3 days, the company intends to complete dosing of Covaxin in 26,000 subjects with the first dose. Bharat Biotech expects to complete the second dose by February-March. He said that in the past, vaccines were approved based on immunogenicity data if they hit a certain threshold. Ella expressed confidence that Covaxin would meet or exceed the 50 percent efficacy benchmark.

Hyderabad, January 16

Bharat Biotech, which has received a government purchase order for supply of 55 lakh doses of Covaxin, a COVID-19 vaccine, said the company would pay compensation to recipients in case of any serious adverse effects experienced after receiving the antidote.

In the consent form to be signed by the vaccine recipients, Bharat Biotech said: “In case of any adverse events or serious adverse events, you will be provided medically recognised standard of care in the government designated and authorised centres/hospitals.”

“The compensation for serious adverse event will be paid by sponsor (BBIL) in case if the SAE is proven to be causally related to the vaccine,” the consent form said.

So they only not sure about quality

Yes I agree people should be given option of the vaccine when they are paying for it or even if it is free.

But the only logistical problem is government will not which vaccine to produce / buy more compared to one another...
