Who is DOC ?

Trunk ports are ports configured as trunk . This will specifically tag vlan with a vlan ID ..and both side of the trunk link needs to be configured as a trunk port.

In modern switching technology we use a 802.1q encapsulation for trunking. Advantage is to seperated broadcast domain for each vlan. Also it makes per vlan security configuration easy.

In your case you probably working on a fex module port channel connecting to vms ..l

Bro...Trunks/Trunk groups ela pani chesthayi?

There is no such thing like trunk groups.. trunks are physical connection between two ports configured in trunk mode negotiating to .1q.

You can configure portchannels trunk groups ..usually configured between firewall and access switch with a a native vlan configured across (usually mgmt vlan)
