VictoryTDP
Every request in SIP ( INVITE, CANCEL, SUBSCRIBE, NOTIFY) will end with a final response which is 200OK, except ACK which has no response. Every errror response 3xx through 6xx end with an ACK.

BASIC Call flow party A ( phone #111-111-1111) calls party B ( phone#222-222-2222) party A's phone sends INVITE --------> Party B ( The INVITE traverses through multiple servers/proxies) in your network that's where you see IP address in the RURI( request URI, FROM, TO CONTACT headers) Party B responds with 100 Trying then Party B's phone when it is ringing, it responds with 180 RInging 200 OK is the final response from Party B to party A ( Remember, INVITE request in step 1, so this is the final response for that INVITE). Party A sends ACK (similar to 3 way handshake in TCP) to party B. At this point the RTP or voice path is established , party A and B talk. Whichever party hangs up the phone, for example say B hangs the phone here, then party B's device sends BYE request. For the above BYE Request, the final response from party will be 200OK and the call ends.
VictoryTDP
@jefferson1 SIP messaging is straightforward once you understand the basic call flow. Always keep this in mind, SIP is based on the REQUEST/RESPONE model as simple as that.
