Pattuko, Not Pettu: Balayya Teaches Telugu

Nandamuri Balakrishna provides enough fodder for the YouTube channels whenever he steps out for a public meet.

He either makes funny comments, or does faux pas with his language, or beats fans who try to take a selfie with him.

On Monday, Balakrishna paid his tributes to his late father NT Rama Rao at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. January 18 was NT Rama Rao's 25th birth anniversary.

When media persons put forth the mikes for a sound byte, Balakrishna made some funny comments about the Telugu language used by one media person. This video has become viral on social media.

When one of the cameramen asked his colleague to place mike properly, Balakrishna corrected him by suggesting the right word in place of a double-meaning word.

“Mike Pettu Kaadu….Mike Pattuko…Nee Abba,” Balakrishna was heard suggesting the cameraman amidst roars of laughter. He also remarked that "Sudi bejjam antha sandu isthe chevilo ucha posey rakam".

Even as he corrected the journalist, Balakrishna in his unique style had used “Nee Abba”. That is Nandamuri Balakrishna.
