Think someone trying to take advantage of this legal loop hole, the parents are trying to project themselves as mentally retarded, with this behaviors it’s very easy to get off the legal hook. 
 

with the way it is staged now, its very easy to get them certified mentally stable and avoid the legal troubles.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments...It left deep scars mentally ...I think my strength came from my parents...at one point i contemplated suicide because divorcees are an outcast in my family .. I still can’t believe I survived what I did...For a long time I lost trust in humanity...I stopped even looking desi guys in the eye...I am grateful I did not have to continue the marriage for the society .. 

I'm so sorrry u had to undergo all that. But, You should feel proud of yourself really. You did the right thing.
