It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that I announce the untimely passing of Bharadwaja Vijaya Durga Chintada at the age of 39. She was taken away from us on January 24th after being diagnosed with Covid 19.

We are at a loss of words and in huge shock. She was a divine figure for us. First five things that come to our mind when we think of her are selfless giving, spirituality, classical music & dance, service to community and her smile. She will not send anyone who visits their place without feeding delicious food.

Vijaya along her husband Srinivasu dedicated their time and resources selflessly on a variety of social causes. They started Vidhyaprabha foundation to provide education for under privileged students (http://www.vidyaprabha.org). Vijaya was planning to start a school for orphaned girls. They put community service ahead of their and kids comforts (owning a home in US) and continued to donate to this foundation and other social causes that they believed in.  It is so unfortunate that we lost Vijaya who was such a kindhearted person.

To support her non-profit foundation Vijaya used to teach kids music, languages and paintings in her apartment community for a very nominal fee.  Both Vijaya and Srini believe in spreading divine knowledge and that learning is a never ending process. Every weekend they dedicatedly taught Bhagwad Gita and shlokas in Atlanta Hindu temple.

With sudden demise of Vijaya, we are worried about their 9 and 11 year old kids!

Our goal is to ease his immediate financial burden and secure kid's future through this education fund. This is the best way to tell Vijaya that her family is not alone and never will be. We can assure that her family’s fate will not be left into uncertainty. This is the best support we can lend to Vijaya's family both emotionally and financially.

We urge you all to please help Srini and his family with your generous donations as money is the last thing his family should be worried about at this hour. We also request you to please pray for Srini and his family to help them in this time of grief.
