your first instinct is right.

machine learning ochaaka artham ayyindi ga, even a half assed conductor can be trained. nothing great about people training themselves and passing exams. except may be they develop some discipline. which is useless for life outside exams.

Actually somehow i enjoyed inter a lot. I was topper may be i enjoyed that attention from lecturers. I used to love to go to college in spite of all the stress. But agreed i will never let my kids go through it.  Its an abusive environment.

Its ok to be proud of your achievements or feel happy, since you know the effort you put though in exams however these are not the metrics for success in life

all these exams must be banned. simple.

including IIT. just makes people jerks. They don't actually improve human knowledge too by much. Most of them end up doing silly MBAs and irritate the fcuk out of everyone.

IITs are comparatively better. atleast they deal with hard sciences.

Its a sick social game. That's the only way it matters. So you can look down on others who aren't on the pedestal that you are.

Its the same stage because 20yrs back, a regular factory worker and middle manager had access to the same opportunities for their kids.

the game has now transferred to higher levels. factory workers are out of the game. but most of kids of those workers from 20yrs back made the social jump to start a new game where they are almost equal with those kids that got eamcet rankers like you.

If by some stroke of luck, their kid turns out to be a genius, they can kick the arse of everyone they couldn't when they were kids and didn't work hard on eamcet.
