population growth is actually slowing down. soon it may go negative even. but people are increasing consumption at an alarming rate like fcuking pigs, especially in US, Europe, and now China and India. 

I think most people who actually believe this and kill themselves wouldn't be from the bunch that overconsume. They'll be from mostly depressed class and diseased people.

Curiosity - I doubt if people die just for mere curiosity when they can see anyway when they die. 

Cycle of birth and death nunchi vimukthi - According to garuda puranam atma hatya is biggest papam. Even according to vedanta one should continue to do karma cant give up saying i am tired.

prosperity has solved the problem of population growth now. apart from rich assholes who have kids in dozens as status symbols, normal people are having 1/2 kids or none at all. 

the problem of overconsumption is much harder to tackle. because everyone is in the game. everyone wants to make money and dial up whatever he's consuming now to 100000 times over.

After life is not all that bad. Sure the ride will be bumpy for a sec but you will get used to it quick when you see entities
