There were initial round of talks for joint collaboration but with 100% stake sale, Posco may emerge as top bidder. They are really good when it comes to steel, especially their efficient methods. They tried setting up greenfield plant but environmental concerns and political environment valla scrap chesinaru.

India li unnadhi major ga only two companies Tata Steel , JSW . Their finances are not that great either after multiple acquisitions , inko independent cash rich company vasthey better. The more the competition the better , that too if a world class company like posco can bring a lot of expertise into our market . At present indian companies lack the technology for high strength used in automotive sector , posco is a world leader in that field

There isn’t an Indian private company which can manage RINL. All Indian private steel companies are nothing less than disaster apart from Jindal.
