I bought 2 pack for front lawn last year and intentionally left them there in the winter (Boston). Last week ee test chesa. They work perfectly fine. 

I plan to buy green color hose and run across to these and connect to timer. Inka hose move chese pani kooda ledu. I dont plan on putting a full level sprinkler system.

Nothing special but a flat hose (when no water running) that blends into the lawn easily rather than a black one. Push mowers dont damage them, riding movers may break them apart.
