Okay. As per recent articles - AP order chesindhi 13 lakh. Half of that 13 lakh could be with Bharat Biotech. Other states like MH are orderding in crores.

Yeah, manufacturing licenses icchi other companies tho large scale production nadapali. Santa Biotech Varaprasad Reddy was talking the same thing. Hyd lo manchi manufacturing companies unnayi.

They can order in trillions too. That is not going to change the ground reality of supply shortage .

Maharashtra health minister says Covid vaccine supply not enough, asks Centre to permit foreign producers

Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope on Thursday said that the state’s Covid-19 vaccine supply is inadequate. He urged the central government to allow foreign vaccine producers to enter the Indian market.

Tope said that Maharashtra is financially in a position to “give a cheque within a minute” to any company that can provide 12 crore vaccine doses. However, despite writing to the producers of Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V, the required quantities are not available

They are defintly not odering 13 lakhs. I think the MH is the first state paying the money upfront and ready to book the vaccines.

Earlier in the day, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal urged the Centre to direct manufacturers to increase vaccine supplies to the capital between May and July.

Kejriwal on Tuesday requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow other companies the right to manufacture the two Covid-19 vaccines administered in the country - Covishield and Covaxin.

In his letter, Kejriwal said that the current supply of vaccine doses is not sustainable to meet the whole country's demand, which will in turn be an arsenal in India's fight against the deadly virus.

Kejriwal, in his letter wrote, the Indian government can do away with vaccine production monopoly using the patent law. "This way we will be able to provide a safety net to the whole country before the third wave of Covid-19 and save lives of people.”

Vaccine topic meedha mingithe, convinient ga Oxygen cylinders antu vacchav.

Health is state subject, pandemic situations are central subject. Idhi fact. To make it more efficient, central Govt has given some instructions enabling the states to procure.

Nuvvu vesina article nunde , the below one - Kaneesam post chese mundhu chadhivi aina post chesthundu.

now on, 50% of the supply from Indian manufacturers is earmarked for the Centre, which will continue its existing vaccination process, which offers free vaccinations for health care workers, frontline workers and for those over 45 years.

The remaining 50% of the supply is allocated for the open market that includes states, private hospitals and facilities that can administer the vaccine. Those between the ages of 18 and 45 have to get vaccinated from this lot. The central government has seemingly moved the responsibility of vaccinating the bulk of India’s young population on to the states and the private sector.

flexibility meeda topic marchi mingali adeee ma shar shepparu....

Every state did that. Ground reality is total capacity of both companies is 7 crore s per month now. Out of which 50% is reserved for center. After exports commitments how many will be left for states. Such orders are like PPTs when there is no supply on ground. That is why all the states asking for either foreign vaccines or asking to companies to colicense.

Did you read this article to the full before copy pasting ? Kerala reserves have gone below 100 tonnes..they still able to produce 200+ tonns of oxygen per day while exporting 40 tonnes.. they are procrastinating the fact that by may 15th  they need to add more surplus to their deposits so they don't run out of it..and pledged central government to send the centrally produced oxygen ..they have the rightful share in the center production .

While andhra is depending on the oxygen goods trains coming from orrissa, Chennai plants and bellary plants...and other central parts...and those goods train travel at average speed of 42 kmph...and andhra is now requesting isro to release 100 tonne of oxygen to nellore area which is highly effected
