Robinhood Day Trading Restrictions

As a day trader, you may already know about the pattern day trading (PDT) rule. This rule dictates that within a five-day trading period, you're limited to no more than three daytrades. Unless you have $25K or more in your trading account

Yes, only 3 day trades in a week. 

 

If you have more than 25K, you can do as many as you want but you wil be considered a Pattern Day trader.

 

If you have lessthan 25K, you will be probably banned from trading for 90 days

If you buy today and sell tomorrow it will not count as a day trade. However, you buy today and sell today, it will count as a day trade. 5 days lo ala 3 days maathrame cheyochchu. Total portfolio value 25000 kanna ekkuva unte it will not impact you.

If it is crypto, it's not considered day trading in Robinhood

any brokerage crypto is unlimited trades.

If you have done more than 3 day trades in 5 business days you will be tagged as day trade with less then $25,000…. RH is worst they don’t allow cash account also …Emi undi call them and ask for lift the pdt they give 1 for  every 180 days

Very clear kada.... Buying a stock and selling on the same day comes under day trade... if you don't want to come under that restriction have 25K in your account ..
