r2d2
Joel Davis, 25, was sentenced to 13 years in prison on Tuesday in New York. He pleaded guilty to charges of 'enticing a child to engage in illegal sexual activity' and possession and distribution of child pornography earlier this year. Prosecutors said Davis sent an undercover FBI agent videos of explicit pictures of children having sex with adults in 2018. He also reportedly enticed a 15-year-old boy to his Manhattan apartment for sex, which he then filmed. Davis founded the Youth to End Sexual Violence nonprofit in 2014 and was nominated for a Nobel Prize for his work with the organization. He previously claimed to be a victim of child sex abuse and spoke publicly about the trauma it inflicted on him.
