Office space will still be used for other purposes , I don't think it will affect much in the long run.

But yes short term profits kosam mafia will try underhanded tactics

aa IT secretary jay ranjan behaves like he is boss to all IT companies. He said govt won’t allow WFH, arei batta nv allow chesdhi endhi ra antunna IT companies…

during last year March early COVID times… Hyd CP sajaner said he take action if any company scare and allow wfh…

KTR kooda ninna Goldman sachs office opening event lo told same. Vaccines icharu kada, restart offices ani.

It's big income source for them with so many dependant service industries if employees come to office. So they will try their best to reopen offices.

Hyderabad will still remain a premium destination for various other reasons .

Ask yourself why even sendral doesn't want to move to Andhra even if he has not much to do in Hyderabad

The issue is the real estate mafia has no real way of influencing a company like deloitte or msft or even infosys.

Real estate mafia or other service industries can't influence directly. But they can pressure through government. That is what they are trying to do right now.

WfH is saving employees a lot of money as they stay at their homes. A lot of new comers prefer as they save significant amount of income with WFH and also more work is getting done. Most employees also have more flexibility because of work from home.

It is beneficial to both companies and employees. Also middle size towns and villages will see young and middle aged folks coming back. This whole city- centric approach is not good for India.

Villages and towns should not end up being old age homes. If a town like kakinada, warangal or vijayawada has atleast 10000 software folks settle back. It will be so good for them.

That's exactly why real mafia will not let it happen ,  if there isn't migration of best and brightest from smaller cities to metros then they can't justify the exhorbiant prices .
