Anta Assamey
Senior Producer NV Prasad is the first Telugu producer to dare and release a film with Ishq after the COVID second wave. In an exclusive interview with Greatandhra.com, NV Prasad who is also a senior distributor made crucial comments about ticket rates problem in AP. "Theater owners have made huge investments in sound systems, screens, projection systems, seatings to enhance audience experience. NT Rama Rao brought slab system. Late YSR brought a radical change by bringing in prorate tax basis for single screen theaters and gave life to the theaters," he said. "Only in Andhra Pradesh, there is online clearance for film shooting permissions. Its high time, both the Telugu governments save theaters system in AP and Telangana. Jagan Government should give it a serious thought. Industry is suffering a lot due to the pandemic," he added.
