In the 1990s, the Taliban used to make money from opium. In 2000, Afghanistan's poppy cultivation was 82,000 hectares. In 2020, it reached 224,000 hectares. Who made money from opium after the Taliban were forced out of power in 2001?

Taliban are the worst kind of islamists, but they controlled opium trading a lot. They banned tobacco, liquor and opium also.

They also banned baccha bazi also. Taliban might be the worst scum, but they banned a lot of bad practices.  Baccha bazi look it up in google. It is prevelant in Pakistan and afghanistan. A lot of rich pakis and afghanis will maintain young 10-15 year old boys and dress them in girls clothing for dancing and other activities. As per rich afghanis and paki men- women are for kids only, male kids are for real pleasure.

Taliban used to hang rich afghanis who practiced bacha bazi.

Go through the lower video. I felt like throwing up. These men are pedophile and wont even accept they are gay.

All the afghani militias produce and trade opium and heroin US army and officials used to disregard it for their support.
