You are talking about the one case where one upper caste f**ed up family killed another upper caste guy. I'm talking about a general scenario where one would assume why TG might not have as much casteism as other states

veerigadu
In TG there is no personal casteism like in AP. Whereas structural casteism is prevalent in both states. Individual interactions ki TG lo casetteee ni they don’t care much. But alliances, partnerships and releationships lo AP Kante ekkuva TG lo unatyi feelings. Just like Rayalaseema. seemaa lo teddy pilla or kammaaa pilla tho thirigitheeee urikinchi urikinchii scampi mingutharuuu alagaaaaa janaaam ni. Andhra people are more liberal in some ways. But neither TG or seemaa people trusts them. Andhra people holds that nasty reputation not sure why. They are treated like a scum by a lot of people. I guess dhora played a role in creating that impression

Caste wars are a luxury ..paisal unnollu kotkuntaru. The Telangana I grew up in was not exactly prosperous enough to fight for caste. It had more of rich and poor divide. Those issues are there everywhere. You think people in andhra dont need to get a job or make a living ? its nothing to do with prosperous. You are just deliberately being obtuse. How can you not see caste in telangana it is there everywhere. You open newspaper in mornig there is matrimonial section.

But you are right about andhra image - it started with congress really - unable to defeat NTR TDP then they started these rumous that andhras are inherently caste or this and that. Morover they played the kapu community resentments very well following ranga murder. And also the general casteism is always there so the basci accusation sticks but a lot of masala was added. Telugodura456
Poltical power in united andhra was mostly with RS teddies they simply had no clue how to handle the sophistication/cine glamor that is coming through TDP. So they took the andhra angle/ cinema angle. Appealed to some local prejudices. also many kostha rival castes aided this - brahmins/kapus etc.

I personally think Andhra culture is very different than Seema and TG culture. There are some similarities between seema and TG.

Yes andhra people also have some additional cultural richness (but it also comes with some baggage) but once you go past those little things people are just as different as anywhere.
