If what you're saying is indeed true, Telangana anna word should have been older than Telugu. Telugu literature was as old as Nanayya (10th century) but Telangana was only coined during the Nizam rule.

That is because current Telangana used to be called Andhra until the Nizams. Andhra just means direction. Bhagavatham existed since the 16th century. Anta hurt avtarani teliste Telangana Bhagavatham cheese varu. Our Telugu teacher in school mentioned that the only part of Andhra Pradesh whose name was derived from Telugu is Telangana ani. Coasta ante just means it's on the coast. Andhra ante meaning is South, so there is no prashtavanam of Telugu there.

What part of this thread has derogatory reference? Anganam is not a bad word, it just means place. Telugu matlade anganame Telangana ayyindi annanu, andulo derogatory em undi?

For some reason, the word Andhra itself became offensive to these folks. First off, Andhra doesn't mean Telugu. Andhra was first described in Mahabharatam to refer to a South Kingdom living on the banks of Godavari. Andhra just means South. 

The word Andhra is first observed from Udyotana's description of 'those with beautiful bodies, who love women and war alike and are great consumers of food' in 779 CE ^[11] The reference to Aitareya Brahmana is generally not taken as a basis as it evolved and grew for over 2500 years with many additions throughout the time, till it is canonized in the medieval times.

Andhra people in the present day are identified as Telugu People belonging to the coastal regions of erstwhile Kalinga (Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari Districts/above Godavari River of present state of Andhra Pradesh, India) and Trilinga Desa (parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The predominant language is Telugu with few minority languages are Koya, Savara, Lambadi, Gadaba, Gondu and Urdu.

Yes..it is. it is much older than telugu. Region always comes first...region tarvate language...Telangana has been identified colloquially for a long time, may be Britannica lo ala rayaledemo.

Telangana coined only during nizam rule ante inthakante pedda comedy inkokati ledu...

Ceded Districts antaru...officially there exists nothing like that but ceded ante oka batch gurtu padtadi,identify chestaru...deeniki proofs, katha karvanalu vundavu...ekado edo webpages la reference thappa..

Telangana kuda ante...it has been there for long, much before telugu attained self respect.
