My view is it does not matter. But investing on good quality TV is a must. Watching TV is the only entertainment these days in home. Dantlo kuda why compromising.....there is a clear difference between good config TV vs cheaper ones. Everyone has access to Netflix, Prime etc and they have HD/4K quality movies.....and u will notice that difference. bachelor aithe buy cheap....married (rent or own), if u can afford $1500, then buy 65 or 75" and enjoy that experience.
