Reminds me how my manager conveyed us when they had to furlough contractors for two weeks.

Even director walked up to my desk and spoke. She said it's not in their hands and felt genuinely sorry.

I was so moved by her gesture even back then.

Given a chance, I would go back and work there anytime.

I worked on a weekend for no pay just because I like my boss. He was so sweet yet formidable. I don't know how people can be that way. I want a mentor like him.
