1 year(12 months). aa aatha em mana inti suttu undadhu .. it takes 12 months of earth time for the soul to reach  brahma loka, each month marks its advance into each step and to nourish/provide nourishing, we do masikam.

 

 and after 11 are done the 12th is the major step so we call it samvatchariskam
