VA vs Austin,TX

All, need a suggestion. My employer has offices in Austin and Arlington,VA. I am planning to settle down in a place with my wife. No kids. We want to move to a place that has lots of outdoor activities.  No specifications regarding Indian crowd. What do you suggest?

Outdoor activities ante VA bro any day, one of the most beautiful states in the US with the Appalachians and those blue mountains. 

Austin sollu weather, too hot in the summer and flat as fcuk. Nothing to do there except go on the lake when it's not burning hot. Austin weather wise 1/10. VA weather and outdoors wise 8/10.

My favorite state to live would be VA in the US, I would move there if I had a choice anyday.

Virginia Beach, Chesapeake Bay also good places to go to
