Samantha is quite vocal nowadays and has often opened up about her struggles with depression, anxiety, and mental health. Times have changed as several stars have kept sharing candid information about their battles with mental illness and Samantha’s words today are equally inspiring to those who are in need of one.

The actress graced the event by Roshni Trust, a non-profit organization founded in 1997 by caring volunteers. The trust celebrates 24 years of mental healthcare service and Sam was invited to launch the Doorstep service in Hyderabad in presence of CEO Mahima Datla and Shilpa Reddy. The mission of the trust is to bring psychiatry service to the doorstep.

Samantha also spoke about her own life experiences and shredded light on how therapy helped her. Samantha said “It is very tough to share one’s mental state during the depression. No one’s life is perfect, I know this very well. Since I am on social media, I have been through this personally, now I am strong. I am truly inspired by the Roshni and Datla foundation for offering this help to those in need.

Hopefully Samantha’s kind and encouraging words today can help those who are in need of Psychiatry. With the noticeable rise of reported mental health issues, it is important to have more helping people who can bring awareness to individuals on the repercussions of leaving such symptoms untreated.
