Gcp Posted March 12, 2022 Report Share Posted March 12, 2022 DevOps idea is to eliminate barriers among Dev, QE and Ops. People, processes and automation tools can help achieve that. SRE approach is to make the products and systems reliable and eliminate manual work. Fix issues with software changes. Both are automation heavy but fundamentally they are coming from different thoughts to solve the issues we had few years ago. In recent times, these roles often sharing similar work in several companies but they change drastically in companies like Google.
