I think you should be selfish as once you get kids, siblings and parents become secondary and kids become our primary priority

correct endukante parents, siblings are more secured than kids, they will have savings or source of income or ability to earn but kids can't. If parents invested everything in your upbringing then parents are also your responsibility.

Not exactly half. But enough to make them feel content. If there are 2 sons and 2 daughters. Then sons should 30% each and daughters should get 20% each.
