Why is it hard? Uninstall whatsapp and say I only prefer sms
Whatsapp is not mandatory for professional communications. That’s your personal choice to have or not.

Also don’t respond immediately in personal hours, unless emergency

always better to get a textnow or duplicate number for these purposes
