I see it's been a while since you’ve posted, but I just wanted to ask—has anyone here recently tried bidding for business class upgrades through airline apps or third-party services? Wondering if those actually work or if they’re just a waste of time and points. Also curious if anyone scored a solid deal last-minute at the check-in counter.

I got a good deal through travelbusinessclass.com last month. Just hit them up with your dates and they’ll send you some solid options, way cheaper than what I was seeing elsewhere. Their team was chill and pretty quick to respond too. I booked a Qatar flight to India in business for less than half the price I found on the airline’s site.

I almost always get upgraded to business class on American because I have Platinum status. In some cases they put me in the front (not business) if no seats are available.
