ఆస్కార్స్ గురించి ఎప్పుడూ లేనంతగా ఈసారి ఇండియాలో విపరీతంగా చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. దానికి ప్రధాన కారణం 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్' ఫిల్మ్ ఆస్కార్ బరిలో నిలిచే అవకాశముందంటూ హాలీవుడ్ మీడియా అంచనా వేయడం. దీంతో 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్ ఫర్ ఆస్కార్స్' అంటూ ట్విట్టర్ లో ఓ రేంజ్ లో ట్రెండ్ నడిచింది. మరోవైపు ఇండియా తరపున అఫీషియల్ ఎంట్రీగా 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్'కి బదులు 'ది కాశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్'ని పంపించాలన్న డిమాండ్స్ కూడా వ్యక్తమయ్యాయి. అయితే ఈ రెండు సినిమాలు కాకుండా ఓ గుజరాతీ ఫిల్మ్ భారత్ తరపున అధికారంగా ఆస్కార్ బరిలోకి దిగుతోంది.

2023 ఆస్కార్స్ కి గాను ఉత్తమ విదేశీ చిత్రం విభాగంలో ఇండియా తరపున అఫీషియల్ ఎంట్రీగా గుజరాతీ ఫిల్మ్ 'చేల్లో షో'(ది లాస్ట్ ఫిల్మ్ షో)ను ఫిల్మ్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా ఎంపిక చేసింది.పాన్ నలిన్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన ఈ చిత్రం ఇప్పటికే పలు ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్స్ లో ప్రదర్శితమై విమర్శకుల ప్రశంసలు అందుకుంది.  మరి ఈ సినిమా ఆస్కార్ నామినేషన్స్ లో నిలిచి సత్తా చాటుతుందేమో చూడాలి.
