ఢిల్లీ లిక్కర్ స్కామ్ కు సంబంధించి టీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవితకు సీబీఐ నోటీసులు జారీ చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ నెల 6వ తేదీన ఉదయం 11 గంటలకు విచారణకు హాజరుకావాలని నోటీసులో పేర్కొన్నారు. మిమ్మల్ని విచారించడానికి మీకు అనుకూలంగా ఉండే నివాసం (హైదరాబాద్ లేదా వీలైనంత వరకు ఢిల్లీ) ఏదో చెప్పాలని కోరింది. ఈ నోటీసులపై కవిత స్పందించారు. తనకు సీబీఐ నోటీసులు అందాయని... విచారణకు సహకరిస్తానని చెప్పారు. వారి అభ్యర్థన మేరకు హైదరాబాద్ లోని తన నివాసంలో తనను ప్రశ్నించాలని సీబీఐ అధికారులకు సమాచారం ఇచ్చానని తెలిపారు.

HYDERABAD: The CBI has served notices to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekara Rao's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavithaasking her to appear before the agency in connection with the ongoing probe of Delhi Excise police scam.

 

Notices were served on Friday under 160 Crpc, under which the investigating agency has the power to summon any person as a witness, as Kavitha is believed to be acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case; 

 

In the notice, CBI Deputy Superintendent of Police Alok Kumar Shahi said, "A case has been registered on the basis of the written complaint received from Praveen Kumar Rai, Director, MHA against Shri Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, GNCT of Delhi and 14 others regarding the allegations about excise policy of GNCT of Delhi for the year 2021-22"

 

 

In the notice, CBI said during the course of the investigation of the case, certain facts have emerged with which Kavitha may be acquainted, hence her examination on such facts is required in the interest of investigation. 

 

 

Kavitha was asked to inform the place of residence (Hyderabad or preferably Delhi) as per her convenience for examination at 11 am on December 6 2022. 

 

Reacting to the notice, Kavitha said, "I've been issued a CBI Notice under Section 160 of Cr.P.C, seeking my clarification. I have informed the authorities that I can meet them at my residence in Hyderabad on Dec 6th as per their request."
